Today is Halloween 2008. Oh joy. Only 4 days to election day. This should be a momentous occasion for ALL Americans. Being elected President is the dream of thousands. And this year it would be nice to have two bonafied American heros vieing for this greatest of manmade honors.
However, it is not to be.
We do have one hero, a real American, one who has served us well all his adult life, a patriot , an individual with a strong desire to be our leader in these trying times.
Unfortunately, we have one who is not a hero, not even a good American, one who hates our flag, hates the Star Spangled Banner, and refuses to pledge allegiance to United States, but has a silver tongue, smooth with words but no substance, promising wonderous changes. Burp.
Our president is Commander-in-chief of our armed forces. How could one so un-American be elected President???

Looks like a duck
I was sitting here contemplating Joe Biden’s remark about a duck. He said if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck.
Then I thought about Donald Duck, the movie star. Donald walked like a duck, looked almost like a duck, but he didn’t talk like a duck, because Donald was not a real duck.
He was really nothing but ink on a piece of paper, a figment of Disney’s imagination. At the movies we allowed ourselves to be mesmerized and entertained by this talking duck, but we knew he was not a real duck.
Joe’s remark kept bugging me. Then I noticed this flock of black birds all over my trees and backyard. They were grackles, hundreds of them, and they all look alike.
That reminded me of the adage "Birds of a feather flock together".
Then I thought of Obama, and Ayers, and Wright, and Farakon, and Kenya, and Muslims, and the thought of birds of a feather flock together.
Then, there is the proverb "A man is known by the company he keeps".
I think all this and then I hear that Obama, who has "hung" out with these buddies most his adult life, is not like them. But birds of a feather..........
Excuse me if I am confused. I hear him refer to his Muslim faith, and..oops, I mean Christian faith. He sat in the pew listening to Mr. Wright spew hatred for America for 20 years, but he never heard him say those hateful words.
Yet he espouses to love America and want to change it. Change it how? America, the greatest nation on earth, and he want to change it. How?
Excuse me if I am confused.
It seems we have a Trojan horse in our midst. Americans are all fascinated by this orator with wonderful sounding words with no substance. Come the night the enemy from within the horse will be unleashed, and our party will be over.
We have been inundated by HATE since the Vietnam war. Hate for good, hate for our military, Hate for America. Since 2000 hate has consumed the radicals, the media, Hollywood nuts, and the liberal Democrats. Hate for our president, hate for America---just hate-hate-hate.
Slowly our moral, Christian, ethical attitudes and love for America have been destroyed.
Some call it THE FROG THEORY.
If you drop a frog into a pot of boiling water, he will immediately jump out. However, if you put a frog in a pot of cold water, slowly heat the water, he doesn’t realized he is being cooked UNTIL it is too late.
Are we too late?

Are you mad yet????
In Ohio, large numbers of homeless people got free van and bus rides to register. Shelby Holliday, a reporter for Palestra.net, filmed ACORN shuttling in some prospects. She told me she spoke with one homeless woman who said ACORN "told her who to vote for if she wanted a 'better life,' and told her not to worry about jury duty (one of the reasons this homeless woman didn't want to register) because the government probably wouldn't be able to track her down. She was registering with a temporary address."
Holliday interviewed another homeless man targeted by the registration drive who exulted that he was voting for Obama because "I want him to do his thang. You know, do his thug thizzle."
"Thug thizzle" is street slang for performing your trademark move. Obama and ACORN have practiced their thug thizzle together for years: Organizing an ever-expanding community of ineligible and marginal voters to expand the Democrat power base. Rules be damned.

Joe biden
Hi there.
My name is Joseph Robinette Biden, but you can call me Joe. I am the senior senator from the Great State of Delaware. Delawarians love me, and have been electing me their Senator for over 30 years and I am running for re-election one more time.
I am also running for Vice president of our beloved United States with my good, dear friend Barack Hussien Obama, who is striving to be elected the first black President of our beloved United States.
I ran for President of our beloved United States in 1988 when I was much younger and unknown so I was unsuccessful, but I remained undaunted, because I believed it was my destiny to be President of our beloved United States .
So I Bidened my time for the next 20 years, learning about the innards of Congress, how to spend your money 00Ps, sorry. I meant learning how to do the best thing for our beloved United States .
2008 was to be my year so I started running again. Unfortunately, some others thought it was their year also and along came her Highness Hillary and Barack Obama. (I call him BO for short. Don’t know why. It just seems to fit) So I lost out again, but not before I got my licks in about Hill & BO.
After saying the things I did, you probably think I would say anything to be elected. But trust me, that’s not true. I just changed my mind and everybody has a right to change their mind. You remember I said BO was too young and inexperienced to be President and I meant it when I said it. It was not a racist thing, just a matter of fact. But when he won the Democrat primary and picked me as his running mate, I then knew "this is one brilliant man". So, now, when we are elected I will be just one heartbeat away from fullfilling my childhood dreams.
Did you see what I did to that Palin woman in the debate? wow! Was I good or not?
With all my knowledge, wisdom and charisma, it was no contest. Like taking candy from a baby Did you see me grinning. I was so proud that I was at my arrogant, domineering best..Yeah, I know I had to lie a lot, but I knew my adoring fans would not know the difference, and if they did they would forgive me. As one fan said "I know he lies a lot, but, DADGUMIT, that’s just old Joe, BLESS HIS HEART!"
Some of you may be wondering what BO and I are going to do for you when we are elected.
Well, I will tell you. WE are going to make all of you PATRIOTIC AMERICANS.
We believe paying taxes is patriotic. So. bless your heart, we are commited to you and to our beloved United States. Actually, and I have to be honest, so trust me when I say this,
only the fatcats, the upper 5% will have their taxes increased. BO has said that we, the middle class, will. pay less.
So be happy. Rejoice. The messiah is coming, BLESS HIS PEAPICKING HEART

Enigma
enigma - something that baffles understanding and cannot be explained
I am experiencing an ENIGMA.
We are in the middle of an election campaign.
We are in the middle of a financial crisis.
My enigma is this:
1. We have a 44 year old woman running for vice-president who has been the reform mayor of a small town and is currently a very successful reform governor of a state with a 68% approval rating. By any measuring stick this qualifies as EXPERIENCE. Reagan was a governor. Clinton was a governor. Bush was a governor. But the media keeps saying she has no experience and is not qualified to be vice-president or president.
2. We have a 45 year old man running for President who has been a "Community Organizer", a state senator with no voting record or accomplishments, a US senator for 20 months with no voting record or accomplishments, 19 of which he has been running for president. By any measuring stick this qualifies as NO EXPERIENCE. But the media has ordained him as next PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES AND SAVIOR OF US ALL.
3. The woman has limited foreign policy experience and is condemned for it.
4. The man has limited foreign policy experience, but it is never mentioned and is no problem.
5. The financial crisis HAS BEEN CAUSED PRIMARILY BY GREED COUPLED WITH GROSS AMOUNTS OF STUPIDITY. By law, passed by our beloved Congress, Banks, Fannie & Freddie and others were FORCED to make loans for houses and small businesses, many recipients of which were totally unqualified and unable to pay back the loans.
6. Part of this blame goes to an organization called ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now . ACORN threatened, intimidated, and bullied banks and savings and loans to make loans to unqualified persons. They successfully threatened congressmen to pass laws requiring banks and others to make unqualified loans.
7. The man was a community organizer on the payroll of ACORN. His job was to train rabble-rousers how to coerce and intimidate banks into making these loans. Would you call that good experience to be president? Congressman or Senator maybe, but not President!!!!
