Global warming.
What is it? Is it good? Is it bad? Is it real? Or is it a scam? Is CO2 the villian some claim?
I don't know, But, lets explore the subject.
People and animals breath in air, extract the oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. And there are added to this old earth millions of new people every year, all of them exhaling carbon dioxide. Should we tell the world "No more kids!" and maybe castrate all men. That might work. Eventually, there would be no humans left. Problem solved.
Burning fossil fuel, wood, paper, sulfur, in fact everything that will burn requires oxygen and more carbon dioxide is generated.
Autos and combustion engines, coal and gas burning power plants generate a lot of carbon dioxide.
Should we turn out the lights and park the car and do without heat when it is cold? (That is what the GLOBAL WARMING idio....s have planned for us)
Is this bad? Could this be good? Well, let's see.
What is carbon dioxide good for? Some enviro-wackos say it causes GLOBAL WARMING , and IS melting the ice on the north and south poles. This is going to cause the ocean to run over the spillway, cover a lot of precious land now occupied by beachfront homes, many of which are owned by some enviro-wackos. (Al Gore has not sold his home on the beach) Strange place to live if you know they are going to be flooded. So if this is right, adding more and more carbon dioxide is a bad thing. THEY SAY!
But trees, bushes, corn, cabbage, watermelons, grapevines, mango trees,, rose bushes, and millions of other plants inhale carbon dioxide and EXHALE OXYGEN.
Thank goodness. Animals (and, lest we forget, PEOPLE are animals,) must have oxygen.
Plants need carbon dioxide. What a deal. We keep adding millions and millions of people breathing out carbon dioxide. So we have a surplus of the stuff that plants love so they are happy breathing it in and giving off the oxygen which we have to have more and more of, to take care of the millions and millions of new people.
The plants, being happy, multiply, grow faster and bigger, breathing more CO2 and exhaling more oxygen, produce fruit, veggies, nuts, etc., and make seeds. Seeds fall to the ground, germinate, make more plants that need carbon dioxide so they can exhale more oxygen for those millions and millions of new people.
I don't know about you, but it seems to like God has created a perpetual motion machine.

So if the world is getting warmer, maybe that too, is part of the plan. We once had an ice-age and there was lots of ice and it was cold. Dinasours were frozen in their tracks.
But eventually the earth warmed up and much of the ice melted, but the earth did not have all these billions of people and animals and carbon dioxide making machines.
SO........Without "excess" carbon dioxide, why did the earth get warmer? Maybe it was part of the plan.
The earth is in perfect harmony with itself. The sun rises and sets every day right on schedule. The sun shines, the winds blow and the rains come to cleanse the air and water the earth. It is synchronized better than the finest watch. Every thing is predictable. For example, we can know what time the sun will rise in New York city on May 10, 2107 to the nearest 1/1000 of a second. Like the earth the solar system also is in perfect harmony, and just as predictable.
God apparently has a master plan and man with his feeble brain can’t mess it up.

Why am I scared?
I am scared.
Why am I scared?
I am not sure.
Some things I think I know scare me.
Many things I know I do not know scare me.
Lawyers have never been held in high esteem.
Obama is a lawyer.
Michelle is a lawyer.
Our federal government is BIG, BIG business.
Obama never ran a business.
Obama never had a real job.
So how did Obama come by a lot of money. How? (He bought a million dollar plus house in Chicago)
Today he essentially runs General Motors.
Today he essentially controls our banking system.
Today he is demanding that HEALTHCARE AND HEALTH INSURANCE be put under government (his) control.
Over 30 unelected Russian czars are running government bureaus, two of them DEVOUT MUSLIMS, and accountable only to Obama.
And I don’t know where and when Obama was born.
I don’t know who financed his education at prestigious colleges.
Obama was raised as a muslim, supposedly changed to Christianity (a muslim sin worthy of death), bowed to the Saudi King, and apologized to the world for America’s arrogance.
The only close friends he is known to have are ALL socialist, communist, America hating, white folks hating and muslim loving , and big labor Mafia type people.
Obama is a smooth taking liar.
His list of known lies now is over a 100 and growing.
What is his real agenda?
Somebody or several somebodies is guiding his way and pulling his string.
Who is it?

Dictator Obama
We better wake up!!!!!
Dictator Obama has made new rules for automobiles. Tin boxes by 2012 that get 42 miles per gallon.
Cap & Trade rules are in the works designed to make his Chicago hinchmen rich and take several thousand dollars ($'s) out of your pocket, put 2-3 million people out of work and bring the capitalist economy system to a complete halt, and make everyone dependent on BIG OBAMA for handouts.
Socializing everything is being accomplished by orders from the Dictator and nobody is challenging him.
Socialized medicine is on the way which means standing in line hours or days or months for medical attention, UNLESS YOU ARE A SENIOR WHO IS NOT WORTH THE EXPENSE OF MEDICAL TREATMENT, THEN YOU WILL JUST BE ALLOWED TO FADE AWAY AT YOUR CONVENIENCE.
If what was announced today doesn't shake you out of your dolldrums, you are a hopeless case.
A spokesman for General James Cartwright, the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, stated the Obama Administration wants to have officers pledge a loyalty oath to the office of the President, and no longer to the Constitution!!!!!!!!!
He also wants to set up a "civilian" benevolent work force and recruit several hundred thousand young people (mostly young men) to do "welfare" work.
Think about it>>>>>>>DOES THE NAME HITLER COME TO MIND?

Who is in charge?

Today I was watching Glen Beck interview the governor of South Carolina.
It seems he is in trouble because he does not want the stimulus money, with all the strings attached.
The Dimocratic National Committee (DNC) is running adds in local papers asking people to call his office and demand he take the money.
He said if he took the money he would like to save some of it for a rainy day rather than blow it all on unnecessary projects.
Suddenly it occurred to me that something has really gotten screwed up. The Governor and Legislature of South Carolina were elected by the people of South Carolina to govern their state and look after their interests.
Now some UNELECTED politician in Washing, DC is demanding the Governor do things his way OR ELSE.
How did we get here?

OSCARS
The Oscars
Last night the Make -Believe world awarded its Oscars to its best actors and actresses.
You know what an actor is, that is someone who can pretend to be someone he is not, speaking words someone told him to say, and make YOU think he is someone he is not.
There was a rumor early this morning that Obama is considering cancelling the Bailout Funds for Hollywood since he did not get an Oscar for BEST ACTOR.

$36,500,000,000 100 years

After 2000 years (that's two thousand years) you would still have pocket change of

So how much is $787 billion.? I have no concept and I doubt that you do. Our idiots in Washington, count all of them, have no concept either, but they voted blindfolded to spend it.

Is this CHANGE for the better or have we been sold down the river? Seems to me we are falling off a cliff with no parachute, or even a back pack to cushion the fall.

Obama "Castle in the sky"
Quote " We must pass the Stimulus Bill without delay, or face a terrible depression"
Soooo, they passed it on Friday, 2/13/2009. He could have signed it then.
Soooo, what does he do? He and "friend" Joe Biden get in his "castle in the sky" Airforce one and fly out to Denver, burning at least 10,000 gallons of jet fuel, arrange a big meeting,
and there before GOD and everybody, he signs the bill.
Then, he flys back to Washington, DC, burning another 10,000 gallons of jet fuel.
And all this happened after he spent last week jumping from one state to another in his "castle in the sky" , burning jet fuel like crazy, selling his doom and gloom, sky is falling, message about his Stimulus bill.
For some reason, how to justify this waste escapes me. And I wonder, what have we done to ourselves?

The snail darter
You won’t like this
In the early 70’s a small minnow like fish called a snail darter stopped construction of a multimillion dollar hydro electric dam in Tennessee for several years.
Environmentalists discovered it in the river water and declared it an endangered species and filed suit to prevent its habitat from being destroyed.
After several years it was decided to capture the little creatures and move them to another location. They are doing fine and reproducing like mad.
Since then thousands of creatures and plants have been added to the ENDANGERED SPECIES list and must be saved at all cost.
ALSO, SINCE THEN, ABORTION OF MILLIONS OF HUMAN BABIES, DESTROYING MILLIONS OF HUMAN BABIES, CRUSHING THE SKULLS OF MILLIONS OF NEWBORN BABIES, THROWING MILLIONS OF HUMAN BEINGS IN THE GARBAGE,
HAS BECOME A NON-EVENT!!!!!
I told you would not like this, BUT HOW LONG ARE WE GOING TO PLAY THE OSTRICH GAME AND KEEP OUR HEAD IN THE SAND?

Gonna buy a goat

Today the Boy Scouts came by, selling fertilizer. At *&%#@*! $25.00 for 40 lbs.
I did not buy any.
Clarene & I discussed what to do.
Eureka!!! Clarene's son, Terry, has a lot of goats.
SOOOOOOOO, we gonna get a goat.
With a goat we get fertilizer and GRASS MOWING, TOO.
Life is good.
